Bonnes Vacances Terms & Conditions for Advertisers
1. All copy for advertisements must be submitted via the online form with all relevant fields and information boxes completed. If advertisement copy is sent by post, then all the data must be clearly and legibly written. All posted advertisement copy should be sent to Bonnes Vacances Direct, 28-30 High Street, Guildford, Surrey, GU1 3EL, United Kingdom and administration charges will apply in accordance with the costs listed on this site.
2. Full payment for your advertisement is required at the time of placing the booking. In the case of clients paying in advance to reserve advertising space, advertisements should be submitted within 30 days from the payment date. Advertisements not submitted within this period may, at the discretion of Bonnes Vacances Direct, result in the account being closed where cancellation conditions apply. Commencement of the preparation of your advertisement will not take place until all copy has been satisfactorily received either via the online form or by post and full payment has been made either by credit card or by a sterling cheque drawn of a UK Bank Account. Payment may be made by Eurocheque, but this will incur an additional charge of €36 (approximately £24) to cover additional administration and bank charges. If you are paying by Eurocheque, please ensure you add this additional charge to the final account for your advertisement.
3. Bonnes Vacances Direct have designed the format for the advertisements placed on the web site for clarity, ease of reference and other aspects vital to the success of your advertisement. Should your copy not conform to this layout, then Bonnes Vacances Direct reserve the right to amend the layout of your advertisement as appropriate. Bonnes Vacances Direct also reserve the right to control the type size, font, wording, layout, photograph sizes and all other design factors associated with advertisements placed on the Bonnes Vacances Direct web site. Photographs will be produced in accordance with the colour rendering and tone of the originals supplied; the photographs will be cropped if the submitted copy does not meet with the requested specifications as explained within this site.
4. Bonnes Vacances Direct reserve the right to refuse any advertisement or to remove any advertisement without explanation and will not be held liable for any consequential expense by the Advertiser. All photographs and documents supplied by the Advertiser will be carefully filed and stored and Bonnes Vacances Direct will take all due care and diligence in protecting and safeguarding all information and materials supplied for the preparation of advertisements, but cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to material supplied.
5. All Advertisers will be emailed to notify them of the completion of their advertisement. Any amendments to the advertisement should be emailed to Bonnes Vacances Direct at the enclosed email address within 7 days of the date of the completion email. Failure to make alterations within this period will be considered as acceptance by the Advertiser that they agree with the content including all text, photographs and layout for their advertisement to appear on the Bonnes Vacances Direct web site. If you do not have access to email, then please contact Bonnes Vacances Direct to make alternative arrangements.
6. Note that should correction or amendment to the Advertisement be requested by the Advertiser after this initial period, a charge may be made. This payment must be received by Bonnes Vacances Direct before any such amendment or correction will be made to the advertisement. The receipt of this payment will not affect the timing of the placement of the advertisement on the web site, but the correction or amendment will only be made upon receipt of the amendment fee. Any error or correction which becomes necessary due to the fault of Bonnes Vacances Direct will be corrected immediately free of charge.
7. Whilst every effort will be made to place advertisements on the web site within 7 days of receipt, Bonnes Vacances Direct cannot be held responsible for any delays, howsoever caused, in the placing of advertisements on the web site.
8. Bonnes Vacances Direct reserve the right, with due notice being given, to visit and inspect properties featured on the Bonnes Vacances Direct web site.
9. Bonnes Vacances Direct require that all Advertisers provide the highest quality of service to their Clients, from the initial telephone enquiry, to dealing with bookings and providing information to the courteous handling of complaints. In particular we assume that Advertisers have made adequate provisions to service and clean the property between lets and to have a line of communication with their Clients in case of emergency. Bonnes Vacances Direct reserve the right to remove, without any financial refund, any advertisement from our web site if an Advertiser does not act in accordance with acceptable practice.
10. The facility exists for Advertisers to update their property availability from their own computer; Advertisers are requested that this be done on a regular basis to ensure that the Bonnes Vacances Direct web site displays only up-to-date information. Should you not have access to your on-line website, contact Bonnes Vacances Direct to make alternative arrangements.
11. As part of the preparation of your advertisement, Advertisers will be requested to locate their property on a map; it is the responsibility of the Advertiser to check that the details on the web site are correct in this respect and to advise Bonnes Vacances Direct immediately should any amendment be required. Any necessary amendment in this respect will be made free of charge.
12. The cancellation of any advertisement must be made in writing. Any monies paid to include an advertisement or to reserve a space on the web site are non-refundable.
13. Any liability of Bonnes Vacances Direct shall be limited to the fee paid by the Advertiser for the advertisement to be placed on the Bonnes Vacances Direct web site. The company shall not be held responsible for any consequential costs or damages howsoever caused or incurred.
14. Bonnes Vacances Direct would draw attention of the Advertisers that they are subject to the Trade Descriptions Act 1968 (which covers false descriptions or failure to inform holiday makers/enquirers of errors, omissions or changes in descriptions), the Consumer Protection Act 1987 (misleading pricing) and any other applicable laws; you are advised to ensure that your property meets all French Governmental and local laws and is fully covered by insurance, that you honour your contract with your Client and ensure that any services provide are completely safe for use by your Clients, their friends, relations and dependants and everyone else residing or visiting the property.
15. Bonnes Vacances Direct terms and conditions of the contract are construed in accordance with English Law and are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
