Beautiful, comfortable living area/dining area with British TV, DVD player, Sony Stereo. Upscale custom kitchen with painted oak cabinets, vintage hardware, porcelain sink, new retro-style Rosieres stove/oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, stone countertops. Large 2nd story bedroom with ensuite bathroom and luxury shower. Full laundry facilities, central heat for year-round enjoyment and Wi-Fi. Lovely terrace with meadow and forest views, Weber BBQ, sunloungers, bistro table, chairs and umbrella. Original features include stone fireplace, wood beam ceilings, pine floors, hand plastered walls and pink slate roof.

Property Location
L'Ecole Ancienne is on a 10-acre bird refuge. just above the Lot River in the lush Lot Valley in the boutique wine region of Entraygues-Le Fel. Gorgeous riverside village of Entraygues-sur-Truyere is just minutes away and offers restaurants, cafés, bars, Farmer's Markets, summer festivals, food shops, wine shop, boutiques, tourist center, friendly people, bank and post office. Ideal for walking, hiking, cycling, horseback riding, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, wine tasting and golf or sightseeing at nearby medieval villages. Historic/tourist sites include Conques, a must-see village that dates back 12 centuries, various museums and chateaux, Roquefort Caves, Millau Viaduct (the highest bridge in the world). Wonderful restaurants and regional specialties. Local wines include V.D.Q.S. Entraygues-Le Fel as well as A.O.C. Marcillac, Gaillac and the noble "black" wine of Cahors.

Our other cottage for two, "La Maisonette," is located on the same bird refuge. Both cottages can be rented simultaneously for couples who would like to holiday together but would prefer staying in their own cottages.
