It is ideally located for visiting all the Chateaux of the Loire and Loir Valleys, and offers a perfect mixture of modern comforts and tradition.

The large salon has a beamed ceiling and there are 2 large comfy sofas for relaxing. There is a TV with DVD/CD player and a massive fireplace with a wood burning stove. Logs are provided so you can sit watching a real fire on cooler evenings. An antique oak table offers space to dine in style.

The kitchen is very modern. It includes a halogen hob, dishwasher, microwave, full fan oven with rotisserie and a large fridge freezer.

The shower room has a powerful shower and large basin with 'hollywood' lights above the mirror. Towels are provided. There is an automatic washing machine.

The twin bedroom has 2 single beds, 2 sets of bedside drawers , a large chest of drawers and hooks offering hanging space.
A traditional window with shutters overlooks the garden and terrace.

The master bedroom is reached though the twin bedroom.
It offers a 5' bed, 2 bedside cabinets , and a large wardrobe. This room also overlooks the garden and also has traditional shutters- great for long lazy lie-ins!
All bedding is provided.

Enjoy the very large sunny garden, or relax in the natural shade the many fruit trees.
Throughout the grounds, garden tables and chairs have been provided, and there is large stone barbecue for easy al fresco dining.

A range of sports equipment from badminton to darts are available for your enjoyment. The cottage has its own boules pitch and a set of boules.

There is a splash pool to cool off in, and for the kids to have fun.

The garden has a variety of fruit trees including peaches, cherries, plums, pears, apples, grape vines and walnuts. You are welcome to use any fruit in the orchard when you visit and this will depend on the season you visit.

The cottage is just 30 minutes from the world famous motor racing track and racing museum at Le Mans.

Chenonceau, Chambord, Langeais, Azay Le Rideau and Loches and Amboise are all easily accessible.
The stylish and cosmopolitan city of Tours with its wonderful shops and restaurants and medieval old town is an easy 30 minutes drive.

Several local lakes and rivers offer swimming, fishing, sailing, canoeing, windsurfing, and jet skiing. There are good golf courses within a short drive and it is 2 minutes to a stables offering tacking by the hour or day.

There are also the famous Loire vineyards of Vouvray, Montlouis, Chinon, Amboise and others which offer wine tastings.
You can fly light aircraft at Saumur, take hot air balloon rides over the Chateaux or a river cruise on the Loire.
