THE FARMHOUSE sleeps 6, and has 1.double bedroom, 2.twin bedded rooms, one bathroom with toilet upstairs and a shower room with toilet downstairs. Fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, microwave etc. Spacious living area with log burner, Tv. dvd/video player, Hi-Fi. outside patio, garden furniture, and barbecue.

THE TWO COTTAGES. This property was originally a stone built barn now converted to make two bright cottages, retaining much of the original oak.
They both sleep 6 and have 1. double bedroom, 1. twin bedded room and one with bunk beds. shower room with toilet upstairs, and a toilet downstairs. Large open plan French style living area, fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, microwave, etc. dvd/video players outside patio garden furniture and barbecue.

The Vines are in a small village called Neure in the Allier (03), Central France, on the borders of Burgundy, Auvergne and the Loire. we are about 6 hours drive, directly south from Calais.

Probably the loveliest aspect of our area is the TRONCAIS FORESTS, said to be the oldest and largest oak forests in Europe, There are large lakes, some with sandy beaches, with picnic ares etc. you can swim, walk, cycle around these lovely forests taking in the wildlife etc. on the way. And of course there is always fishing.

All the local villages have something to offer you. for example Lurcy Levis (5km) can supply most of your needs, an Atac supermarket, Doctor, Dentist, Pharmacie, Post office, Bank, Boulangerie's, restaurants, Bars and most importantly a Cave.
Approximately 40 mins drive away are 3 large towns: NEVERS, MOULINS and BOURGES, all of which have attractive historical town centres. Moulins has a large FUN FAIR to the south.
