La Maison de L'Etang de Beauport.A beautiful old house perched on the edge of a two and a half acre freshwater lake and surrounded by woodland isjust a stones throw from the beach.

Lakeside garden,terrace and woods.Amazing woodland and coastal walks.Lots of interesting and rare wildlife.The beach is about 150 metres from the property.
The lake was originally dammed by the monks of the nearby Abbey of Beauport in 1202 to create a reservoire for the use of the monastery.The house was built upon the site of one of the Abbey buildings.

Property Location
The house is to be found upon entering the town of Paimpol,Cote d'armor,Brittany.75 miles west of the port of St Malo and 75 miles East of Roscoff.
It is a beautiful little fishing town with a long history.Today the port is full of pleasure craft and the cobbled streets packed with restaurants,boutiques and Galleries.The famous Isle de Brehat is just 10 minutes away with its hourly ferry service.The Cote Granit rose begins a few kilometres away with its dramatic rocky coastline.
A daily Ryanair flight from Standsted to Dinard is an easy way to reach the house.With carhire available at the airport.
