Nestling on the edge of a typical farming village in the heart of the French Limousin countryside, this pretty stone built property used to house rabbits, goats and sheep for the property's owners in times gone by.

With the minimal of alterations to the buildings exterior or interior fabric, the renovation of this property is in keeping with its original constuction. Traditional materials and building techniques have been used to convert the building into a remarkably quaint and quirky cottage which oozes charm and character throughout.

A mix of the Medieval and Morrocan, La Lapinière is a two bedroomed gite with traditional wall and stone floor finishes.

The Kitchen/Living Room has leather sofas, a woodburning fire, dining table and chairs, all the necessary equipment and enhance with comforable leather sofas. There is a tv, dvd and satellite with english channels

There are low ceilings with exposed beams in the bedrooms, a cosy farmhouse style kitchen / living room and an amazingly charming fully enclosed wetroom/toilet with morrocan style waterproofed tadelackt* walls, ceilings and floors.

Facilities include a farmhouse style kitchen with built in oven, gas hob, belfast sink, fridge-freezer, TV & DVD player as well as a traditional wood burning stove.

The Upstairs bedroom has a comfortable double bed with views overlooking the gardens, this room is equipped with a vanity sink and mirror, ornate morrocan bedside tables and lamps.


*tadelackt - a traditional waterproof render finish originally used by ancient moroccan bergers to waterproof bathrooms and pools with in Morocco.

Property Location
The house is located in a quiet village and within a two minute walk you will find all the amenities of a small farming village with shops including a bakers, butchers, general store, pharmacy and bar/tobacconist. The village also has its own railway station with a direct link to Paris via the TGV within two and a half hours.
